S’more Care Terms of Service

Welcome to S’more Care – our worry-free website maintenance plan. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) explain what’s included, how we work, and what you can expect from us. By subscribing to S’more Care, you agree to these Terms, so please read them carefully.
1. What’s Included
As part of your active subscription, we provide:

Content Updates
Need small text or image updates on your website? Just send us a request, and we’ll take care of it. -
Hosting
We provide secure, high-performance hosting via our trusted partners (like Cloudways, AWS, and DigitalOcean). -
Software Updates
We’ll keep your website platform (WordPress), themes, and plugins/extensions up-to-date. -
License Renewals
We cover licenses used in your project (like premium plugins or templates)—no surprise renewals for you. -
Security
Includes malware scans, real-time monitoring, and firewall protection. -
Backups
Daily or weekly backups with off-site redundancy for peace of mind. -
Bug Fixes & Breakages
If something breaks, we’ll fix it—no hourly billing, no stress. -
DNS Management
We’ll manage changes to your domain’s DNS records when requested. -
Speed Optimization
Ongoing performance testing and tuning to keep your site running fast. -
SMTP Sending Server
We’ll manage a reliable email-sending server so your site can send notifications properly. -
Quarterly Consulting (30 mins)
Each quarter, you get a 30-minute strategy session to review performance and plan improvements. Please request your quarterly consultations at your convenience, anytime during the quarter. -

2. What’s Not Included
To keep things clear, here’s what isn’t included, unless otherwise agreed:

New feature development or major design changes*

Creation of new page layouts or content*

Development of custom-coded integrations or third-party API integrations*

Marketing services (SEO, ads, etc.)**

Emergency support outside of business hours
*Items above are available to you and can be billed at our hourly rate or quoted as a flat-rate project fee
3. Request Process
Submit updates or support requests via email. Most content updates and bug fixes are handled within the same business day they are received. However, complex issues or tickets received near the end of the day may require more time.
4. Fair Use Policy
Our plan is designed for reasonable ongoing support. If your requests consistently exceed fair usage (e.g., frequent large-scale edits), we may recommend a custom maintenance agreement.
5. Payment & Termination

Subscriptions are billed monthly.

You can cancel anytime with 14 days’ notice.

We reserve the right to terminate service for non-payment or misuse.
6. Liability & Warranty
While we do our best to maintain and protect your site, we can’t guarantee that it will always be error-free or immune from all security threats. We are not liable for damages resulting from third-party software or hosting failures.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of your website and content. We do not claim any rights to your materials. Any tools or licenses we provide are limited to use within your project and are non-transferable.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. We’ll let you know about any major changes, and the latest version will always be posted on our site.
